How we score
Our score runs from one to five and weighs three things: how clearly the game explains itself, how accessible it is on the platforms named in its catalogue entry, and how interesting its genre feels right now.
The price beside each score is a separate fact from our catalogue, not part of the score. A cheap game does not score higher for being cheap, and an expensive one is not marked down for its price — the two sit side by side so you can weigh them yourself.
List prices are the publisher's standard price on the official store on the day we checked. Sales, special editions and console storefronts differ, and we do not track them: confirm the current price on the official page before you buy anything.
We do not track popularity, we accept no sponsored placements, and a score is never changed in exchange for anything. If we update a verdict, it is because the catalogue entry changed.
